It's Storytime with Miss Forester as I read, How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You? by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague, then I will guide your child how to draw a Stegosaurus with all the spikes travelling down its back. In this book, it tells the story of how much Mommas and Daddies always love their kids (little dinosaurs) -- even when they spill their food or make an awful fuss. Your child will giggle as I read to them how some very unruly children test the patience of their grown-ups . . . but, also show how much they love their parents too!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a certified teacher who has taught two years of 4th grade, two years of 3rd grade and I've been a preschool teacher for 14 years. Two of my most favorite parts of being a preschool teacher have been storytime and guided drawing lessons with my three and four year olds. I enjoy bringing my students into each story by asking questions, using different voices and sound effects. I want to show my students how fun and exciting reading can be. At preschool ages of 3 to 6 years old, their creativity is so sweet and every picture they draw will not look exactly like mine, but drawing is such a stepping stone to other things. Through guided drawing, students will learn colors, following directions, creativity, and appreciation of art through crayons. I am a kid at heart who loves to laugh and collect vintage Fisher Price sets, toys and Fisher Price Little People.
