$5 off MARIAGUQ3O5 Students will reveal their mystery images by plotting points on coordinate grid, color the image, solve a logic puzzle like tangram and pentomino or create an origami. The themes will be animals or objects.
Class experience
Each class will include SOME of the following activities: - warm up approx. 5 min, - one 3-D creations approx. 10 min - one logic puzzles, approx. 10 min, - one mystery image, drawing, coloring, plotting points 15 min - closing up notes and sharing impressions approx. 5 min. While having fun, students will work on: - building up their math skill on plotting points on coordinate grid - building up their math skills on recognizing similar and congruent shapes, as well as different 2-D shapes, - improving their spatial visualization skills, - learning mathematics, - refining hand-eye coordination, - improving their concentration, - boosting their brain activity, - encouraging systematic thinking, - improving their problem-solving skills and - building their confidence.
You will need: - Origami paper, or you will need to trim some away form the regular paper for proper origami paper, - blank paper and pencil, - color pencils and/or markers, - ruler, - scissors, - paper glue, glitter or other decorations by your preference.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students should cut out the pieces of the tangram puzzles, which will e attached to the classroom wall. Parental Guidance will be needed since students will be using a scissors.
