In this one-time class, learners will be educated and entertained as they learn my amusing subtraction story filled with laughter that will teach them to subtract with regrouping. I will teach students my subtraction story which includes the steps for solving subtraction problems with regrouping. I will then apply the steps and solve various problems. We will also solve problems together. The class will focus on problems consisting of: + two-digit numbers minus two-digit numbers + three-digit numbers minus three-digit numbers + subtraction across zeros My favorite part of the lesson is when we repeat my subtraction story in unison as we solve subtraction problems together.

I am a recently retired certified teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching elementary and middle school students. I taught mathematics, social skills, and reading to students in grades K-8. I have a bachelor's degree in Education and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
I taught individual and small group instruction to students who were below grade level in math and reading in grades K-5 for over 15 years in the public school system.
I have five years of experience teaching online.
For four years, I taught after-school enrichment classes for children ages 5 to 13. I taught computer coding, robotics, chess, and acting/drama. I have over 20 years of experience as a children's church teacher in the various churches that I attended for children ages 6 to 11.
