Join me on a cosmic adventure in expanding your knowledge of long division! In this one-time class, students will master skills in long division through teacher modeling, independent practice, and, best of all, Among Us gameplay. In this class, we will focus on dividing within 100, with remainders and with repeating, using an Among Us emulation! The format of this class will be as follows: • Video clip of a fun song to engage students and to help them remember the steps in the long division process. •Teacher will model solving a division problem within 100 with repeating for the students. Students will solve a division problem within 100 with repeating with the help of the teacher if needed. •Begin our quest to find the imposter by solving various long division problems through an Among Us emulation. In preparation for this class: Students will need paper and pencil or a dry erase board and marker. Students will need to know their basic multiplication tables before starting this lesson. If students struggle with their basic multiplication, no need to worry, the teacher will also show the students strategies to find the answer when they haven’t quite memorized them yet.
