The letters and sounds of the alphabet, number literacy and creative arts will be taught in these ongoing classes. We will look at learning the alphabet, recognizing the letters and the sounds associated to each letter. We will work on letter and word associations to grasp a better understanding of the letters and build on literacy skills. We will explore the numbers up to 20 through recognizing the numbers, counting them and building them. The class will be taught in a fun and interactive way to help the learner understand the order of the alphabet, recognize the sounds and numbers through games and movement. My teaching style is focussed on having the learner comfortable in the learning process and ensure they are engaged each step of the way at their own pace with encouragement. The learners will be interacting each class through discussions, answering questions, participating in games as well as having fun in different activities they will be able to participate in.
