Learning Needs
This class is self-paced and will provide students will opportunities to practice. Handwriting is hard for many learners. We will be going over letter writing in cursive for this class.
Pre-Requisites
Students should have basic letter knowledge and basic handwriting. This class is for students end of 2nd grade and up it only focuses on lowercase cursive letter writing.
Supply List
Students will need several #2 pencils and notebook paper to write on. I always prefer students use a notebook or a binder with loose leaf paper in it so they can better keep up with and manage their materials.
Teacher expertise and credentials
North Carolina Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
I am a 13th year certified teacher with my Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I am also certified to teach Special Education in the State of NC. I have taught both Regler Education and Special Education but Special Education has had my heart for the last 10 years.
I love teaching struggling learners so I always make sure my lessons are easy to follow for all learners and easy to understand. As a Special Education Teacher I understand that writing is hard for many students but I have found that students who struggle with basic print will often thrive in cursive writing.
