This class will at times talk about ships that were lost in combat. When looking at lost ships, we will mention the loss of life associated with these sinkings. Discussions will be developmentally appropriate for the age range of this course, and the experiences of sailors lost at sea will not be explored in great detail. All discussions of these losses will be fact based, and unbiased in nature. Ex. "When the USS Trigger sank in March of 1945, her entire crew of 89 sailors was lost."
