In this 25 minute ongoing course learners will have the opportunity to talk super heroes with other super hero fans. We will have some trivia questions about both Marvel and DC super heroes. At the end of class we will have plenty of time for learners to show off their favorite super hero toys, drawings, action figures, etc. Please have the learner bring paper and pens, pencils or markers to class. Each class we will take 3-5 minutes to draw and share our masterpiece with the class. If the learner doesn't want to draw they can share toys with the class or we can keep on talking while others draw. I will rotate the classes listed below. Here is a list of possible questions that may be asked during any of the classes(This way learners can think of what answers they may want to share): What villain are they up against? How will they defeat the villain? Where is their adventure taking place? What is their super hero name? What's their super hero power? This class is designed as a space for learners who love super heroes. It's a fun way to socialize with others who have the same interests. I'll remind learners at the beginning of class to please raise their hands and leave plenty of time for other learners to share comments. Week of December 26th: Super Heroes Week of January 2nd: Marvel Universe Week of January 9th: Marvel Battle World Week of January 16th: Spidey Heroes Week of January 23rd: Justice League Week of January 30th: Marvel and DC join forces Week of February 6th: Favorite Heroes Week of February 13th: Super Heroes Week of February 20th: Marvel Universe Week of February 27th: Marvel Battle World ***Parents please be advised that if there is too much background noise, I will use the mute option on zoom.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Shelley. My husband and I have two kids and together we enjoy hiking, gardening, cooking, beach trips and just try to enjoy the outdoors any way we can. I graduated with a bachelor's in health science and have always had a interest in healthy living. I became an ESL online teacher in May of 2018 and have found that teaching has become another passion for me. I love getting students excited to learn new things, to see them grow is truly rewarding. I have a special interest in teaching phonics, baking and work outs. I also enjoy engaging students in storytime.
