Let's start learning English is a beginners ESL ongoing private tutoring class that happens twice a week. Students will focus on building the basic skills and start from their current level.
Class experience
In this ongoing class, students will be provided engaging, one-on-one English lessons as we meet twice a week. This class will be tailored to your students current level. During the first class meeting I will give a quick assessment class to better help place your student and see where they need to improve. We will focus on phonics, grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure in every class. We will also spend time learning about different topics such as family and toys or sciences such as...
This class is taught in English.
The goal of this class is for each student to learn as much as they can about English while enjoying themselves. I truly feel that if students are laughing and having fun then they are learning and remembering more about the class.
I have been working with children for the last 4 years as a teacher, bus driver, and stay at home Aunt. I have teaching ESL on VIPKid for 2 years and have a 120 hour TESOL. Before that I worked in software testing and teaching at Central Piedmont Community College.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents are more welcome to sit with their students off screen during the class. I do not use any offensive language or teach any offensive words to students.
We will be using slides I have prepared before the class meets each week.
