Class Experience

In this ongoing class, students will be provided engaging, one-on-one English lessons as we meet twice a week. This class will be tailored to your students current level. During the first class meeting I will give a quick assessment class to better help place your student and see where they need to improve. We will focus on phonics, grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure in every class. We will also spend time learning about different topics such as family and toys or sciences such as geology or robotics. Each topic will be discussed before hand and will have an introduction class.

I love to use slides with lots of TPR(total physical response), props, and different voices to help my students learn more. I love to sing and dance with my students in class or if they don't like to dance, then we will play games while learning English. Each class is conducted through Zoom Video meetings and the students will have the opportunity to write on the screen using the Zoom tools.

The goal of this class is for each student to learn as much as they can about English while enjoying themselves. I truly feel that if students are laughing and having fun then they are learning and remembering more about the class. Also parents are more than welcome to sit with their students off screen during the class. I do not use any offensive language or teach any offensive words to any of my students.

Sample Class Schedule:

Week of November 8th - Students will always start by learning how to say Hello and introduce themselves and how old they are.

Week of November 15 - Here students will start to learn about the names of family members Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister while pretending to introduce them at a party.

Week of November 22 - Students will learn about breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We will use the time of the day and point out which meal we are having.

Week of November 29 - Students will have fun counting from one - five. We will count fruit and vegetables to while creating a meal.

As the class moves on students will be introduced to their imaginary classmates as they learn how to use pronouns and create more complex sentences.
