Teacher expertise and credentials
Classes:
Teaching STEAM classes (science, technology, engineer, art and math) has always been a great joy to me. I want to teach children age 5 -18 years old on how to draw nature including flowers, trees and animals such as elephant, panda, giraffe, dragonfly and many more. Students will be using water color, acrylic, color pencils and oil crayons, with variety of techniques. Also, I want to teach students how to make paper hot air balloon, how to create a marble track, or go on a virtual outdoor trip together and many more.
Professional background:
Due to my love of art and design, I received my Bachelor degree in interior design in 2000 from Harrington Institute of Interior Design, now known as Harrington College of Design in Chicago, Illinois and a Master degree in Digital Media and Design in 2006 from The American Academy of Art College in Chicago, Illinois. My professional career has always involved creating arts and designs alike. Furthermore, I had established my own design company named Design Hut. My Company specialized in designing variety of products such as post cards, calendars, picture frames, pillow cases, jewelry boxes and other home decorations products.
Philosophy:
I believe that every child has his or her own talent that can be discovered. I also believe that fun teaching is an important key factor for successful learning.
Fun facts:
I have a fourteen years old Westie name Tama. I like to drink hot chocolate, and I enjoy traveling to beautiful nature. My most favorite dish that I love to cook is pineapple fried rice, and I love baking chocolate chip cookies.
