In this one time class, students will color 1-2 pictures for St. Patrick’s Day. They will color them by matching colors and numbers together (ex. 1-green, 2- blue). They will have fun coloring as well as practicing number and color recognition! I will color with them using my own picture for interaction and making sure they have colored the right sections. We will finish at least 1 picture and they can color the other on their own if we don't start or finish it. I have done this with other holidays and the students enjoy it!

Hi! My name is Tanisha and I'm from Southern California. I've been working in the schools on/off since 2006. Three years as an instructional assistant for middle school students, one year as an aide for kindergarten, four years as a substitute teacher for middle school students and brief experience in after school programs. I have also been an ESL teacher for children in China since December of 2017. I also, since 2006, have done massage therapy.
I have an Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree in General Education and I’m working on my Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning. I will be teaching classes about Kindergarten (counting, colors and shapes), journal prompts for middle school kids (I've had a journal since I was 12!) and a nouns, verbs and adjectives class.
I want children to have fun and learn in a creative way! Hope to see you soon!
