Lego Masters Club: Build, Dance, & Follow the Show!

In this ongoing once-per-week course, students will have the opportunity to show off and build legos, DANCE and make new friends!

Class experience

Students will improve fine motor skills, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and focus by working on their own legos as well as seeing legos from other children. They will also learn the importance of moving their bodies after a sitting activity. Students will enhance their creativity and confidence by getting up and dancing! They will dance to a song they love, which will add to their excitement that will carry them through the rest of their day.
Students will need a basic set of legos or any building bricks. They will need a space to move around and dance. The space should be free of object on the floor or anything they can bump into. This is to avoid injuries or falls. They will need appropriate shoes (no sandals, flip flops or heels). They also need a bottle of water.
Children will need a space to play with their legos and a separate space to move around and dance. The lego space and the dance space cannot interfere with each other. A suggestion is to build legos at a table or desk so they are away from a dance space. This is to avoid injuries or falls. For dancing, they will need appropriate shoes (no sandals, flip flops or heels). They also need a bottle of water.
