In this ongoing class, students will be able to go on a scavenger hunt to find different items in their home. I will give the children an adjective or noun and the students will find something that the word describes. When they find the item, they will show it to their friends in the class. The students will explain why they chose that item. There will be socializing in this class as the children will talk about the items they found. This class will help the children practice taking turns,...
The students will practice critical thinking on finding items that meet certain words. They will learn how to talk to others in an online setting, listen to each other and take turns.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The children will be leaving their screen to find the items. Parents may need to help their children find the items.
