(Please note: students will need to be able to speak and understand English to get the most out of this class.) Come and learn to speak in a British accent with a professional actress. I performed in several plays in England (when I lived there working in the professional theatre for 10 years) with my British accent. When I spoke to some of the audience members after the show, they couldn’t believe I was American, “why are you speaking with an American accent?” they asked. And I said, “I am American, I was doing a British accent.” And they couldn’t believe it. I’m going to teach you how to speak like a Brit in this interactive class. So come along and learn and have everyone think you’re British. Important: please be prepared to participate in this interactive class so that I can help you perfect your British accent! In each class, we will start with vocal warm ups and then we will practice the unique sounds and phrases for the British accent. Finally, we will practice speaking our brilliant accent with rhymes, scenes and monologues. NOTE: As Christina is a working actor there is a possibility she may have to transfer a class to another day and time if it conflicts with her shooting schedule. In the event that this happens, an alternate date will be offered to which she will transfer your child. If for any reason your child cannot attend the make up class on the alternate date – you will be refunded. Please note: Christina does everything she can not to have to transfer any class.
Learning Goals

Hello Students!
My name is Christina. I am half Spanish and half American. I live in Los Angeles. I grew up traveling the world. I lived in Germany for 6 years as a child. I speak Spanish. I am a former pre-school and elementary school teacher with over 10 years experience who taught in the US, Spain and England.
