In this 4 week class students will have fun playing games and participating in activities related to a birthday theme. This class is great for anyone who is celebrating that month for either themselves or their stuffy.
Class experience
In this class learners will be taught about Birthdays. - why people celebrate birthdays or half birthdays - share how birthdays are celebrated in their home - share about their countries birthday (if they choose) - play birthday games (a variety to choose from depending on the age of the learner) - what happens at birthday parties? - what behavior is expected at birthday parties ? (turn taking, manners, etc) This class will begin each week with a welcome to the class, sing "Happy...

Week 1Lesson 1IntroductionIntroduction to birthdays, sing happy birthday, birthday month? season? countries birthday? share how each learner celebrates, search and find game.Week 2Lesson 2Birthday Game 1Birthday Bingo! Great way to review birthday vocabulary. Depending on age and ability of learning we will add in a focus of spelling the vocabulary or finding pictures using a phonic sound.Week 3Lesson 3Birthday Party Etiquette and Expected BehaviorThis lesson will discuss what happens at birthday parties, what can learners expect if they attend a birthday, what behavior is expected (turn taking, please and thank you) Will finish with a birthday game.Week 4Lesson 4Birthday PartyIt's Party Day! Birthday songs, dances, games, if learner chooses craft.
