In this class students will learn how to write a Minecraft themed paragraph. In class we will be using the Hamburger model to help guide our writing. The "paragraph hamburger" is a writing organizer that visually outlines the key components of a paragraph. Topic sentence, detail sentences, and a closing sentence are the main elements of a good paragraph, and each one forms a different "piece" of the hamburger. During students will work together as a group, individual and with teacher....
Students will learn the hamburger method when writing a paragraph.
A one page Hamburger Paragraph handout will be available to print.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
