In this 5 day semester online course, students will cover how to use a block-based visual programming language. They will learn to create games, animations, and sounds. Some games include: Pong Game, Minecraft Maze and much more.

Description

Class Experience

- It is recommended for students to have two devices while taking this class. One for Zoom and the other for coding. (not required) - Students may use one device (computer or laptop) they will need to have two windows opened at the same time. - Students can use a tablet for Zoom but they will not be able to use it for Scratch. - During class we will use Scratch 3.0 (a user account is highly encouraged, but not required).
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
4 hours 35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
