This class will go more in-depth into SQL. We'll first make sure everyone has the client downloaded, then we'll cover some intermediate topics in SQL. SQL is a widely-used programming language.

Intermediate Level
This class will cover intermediate topics in SQL. We'll first cover aggregate functions and the GROUP BY function. We'll spend time on JOINs, which are fundamental to any SQL report report writer. We'll cover INNER JOINs, LEFT JOINS and CROSS JOINs. If we have time we will cover Common Table Expressions (CTEs) and loading data into the database from a CSV.
Students should be familiar with the basics of SQL (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, etc.) and be comfortable querying data from a single table.
