In this drop in class, we will use our imaginations to tell an improvised story!
Class experience
During this class, learners will learn to build an improvised story. Improvisation techniques will be taught to assist learners in activating their imaginations to generate new ideas. Together we will collect suggestions for the five basic story elements: characters, setting, plot, conflict, and resolution. To assist in prompting creative thought patterns, learners will answer questions such as: Who did the rabbit see? What should the rabbit eat? When did the rabbit eat the carrots? Where...
Students will build confidence, quick thinking skills, and find coping mechanisms for anxiety.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
