Each class, students will fill in an incomplete doodle using their imagination and create a unique story about their picture to share with the class. We will focus on creativity, storytelling/literacy and public speaking skills.
Class experience
At the very beginning of class, students will be given two (or more) incomplete doodles and asked to creativity complete them. Perhaps they will be asked to draw what is terrifying a poor elephant, design a flower shop, or finish a rickety bridge. After drawing their images, everyone will be asked to share and described their pictures. This provides a fun, casual and non-threatening environment for them to practice public speaking and presentation skills as well as start a "first draft" for...
