Drawing can be frustrating because we sometimes have a picture in our heads of what it should look like and then we're disappointed when it doesn't. Thankfully, there are some nifty ways we can cheat a little bit that are actually good practice for improving our drawing skills. This class is structured in an interactive, conversational style. We will draw together, look at some of the ways I "cheat" at drawing and how cheating correctly can build skills. We may compare my old drawings to some new ones to see how with time and patience, it is possible to improve.

Hello! I am a writer and artist. The subjects I'm most passionate about are Digital Art, Costume Design, and Creative Writing. I've worked on independent films as a wardrobe coordinator/costume designer and won amateur awards for my artwork and fashion designs. I am a published author (ghostwriter) and while my degree is in filmmaking, I minored in creative writing. I learn by making things and I think the best way to learn is by doing.
