Class Experience

Many times we have to deal with difficult situations in our lives. Whether it be at school, with friends, and/or family. Even strangers! Being assertive is a core communication skill that is fundamental for development. In this class, students will learn how to use assertiveness to boost self-esteem and express their needs/wants appropriately.

This multi-day class will be taught using PowerPoint for our visual learners alongside interaction amongst the group. Students will use critical thinking; sharing ideas and thoughts amongst their peers. I love being interactive and formulating classes that get the students thinking and curious!

The class will be as follows:
Class 1: Assertiveness communication - Understanding Traits, Tips for assertiveness, and worksheet activity
Class 2: Passive, Aggressive, and Assertive Communication- Understanding the difference between the communication styles and worksheet activity

No prior experience necessary!
