In this Ongoing Class, learners will explore a range of Geography subjects in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young explorers. Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, videos and much more. Learners will be encouraged to explore, question and share what they learn. A variety of methods are used to support learners and cater for different learning styles and needs. What is taught in this course? Week of 31/3/2025 - Fossils Week of 7/4/25 - Restless Planet Week of 14/4/25 - Erupting Earth Week of 21/4/25 - Caves and Mines Week of 28/4/25 - Oceans and Seas Week of 5/5/25 - Weather and Climate Week of 12/5/25 - Third Rock from the Sun Week of 19/5/25 - Deserts Week of 26/5/25 - Forests Week of 2/6/25 - Mountain Ranges Week of 9/6/25 - At the Poles Week of 16/6/25 - Earth’s Resources Week of 23/6/25 - Rocks, Minerals, and Gems Please note, this course can be taken in additional to the Ongoing Science class. Although some themes may look similar, material, classes and learning objectives are different.
