In this one time course, learners will discover what plants need to grow and the parts of the plant through puzzles, a story and a fun vegetable themed activity.
Class experience
Come learn about plants, their parts and what they need to grow and thrive! In this class we will, 1. Introduce ourselves and share our favorite kind of plant. 🌿 2. Read "From Seed to Plant" by Gail Gibbons. 📕 3. Review what we learned about the parts of the plant and what helps them grow by creating a diagram.🌞 4. Create a puzzle using vegetables to reinforce our learning of the parts of the plant.🥕 Be sure to check the supply list for the vegetables needed. I, the teacher, will provide...
The teacher will provide the props for the diagram. Students will need to provide paper and glue to assemble the diagram. Vegetables needed for our parts of the plant puzzle include broccoli (flower), spinach (leaves), celery (stems) and carrots (roots).
