In this 6 week course, learners can discover the extraordinary and often overlooked stories of courageous women who played pivotal roles in World War 2.

Class experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Knowledge of Historical Context: Develop an understanding of the historical context of World War 2, including the causes, major events, and key actors involved, to comprehend the significance of women's roles during this period.

Recognition of Women's Contributions: Recognize and appreciate the diverse contributions made by women during World War 2, including their involvement in the military, intelligence and espionage, industrial production, civilian support roles, and resistance movements.

Critical Evaluation of Primary Sources: Develop skills in critically evaluating primary sources, such as diaries, letters, photographs, and propaganda materials, to gain insights into the experiences and perspectives of women during World War II.
