The learning goals for this course will be to teach the students about various military aircraft from World War II, the Cold War era, and modern era. There will be several WWII era aircraft discussed to include fighter bombers and foreign aircraft. In the Cold war era, more modern aircraft such as bombers, fighters, attack aircraft. There will be a distinct Cold War era historic information built into these classes each week. Additionally, the structural design, variants, avionics, and other scientific information will be discussed in these classes. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. The material does not necessarily build on each class prior therefore, the student may join the class at any time during the duration of this ongoing class. There will be no assigned homework in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students and a short 3 to 7 minute video are also shown in each of these classes.
