GUIDED READING SEMESTER - has been designed for students who wish to receive Daily Reading Practice with a variety of literary works. Students will gain appreciation for Long Comprehension passages which are crucial for preparation for all state examinations which students take for assessment purposes. Course will review some basic reading skills and strategies using a PowerPoint Slide Presentation followed by answering aligned questions. Classes will operate 3 times per week and between...
Students will have an opportunity to practice Reading Literary Selections, Answering related Comprehension Questions, Learning new Vocabulary Words, and Completing Short-Constructed Responses.
