In this class, the students will briefly learn about the history of Groundhog Day and then listen to a story about Groundhog Day by Amy Brown. The students will begin class by discussing what they know about Groundhog Day. Then the students will read and listen to some facts about Groundhog Day. Then the students will listen to a short story about Groundhog Day that was written by the teacher. The students will discuss what they learned about Groundhog Day after the story. The students will predict whether or not they think the groundhog will see its shadow.

I love to use my degrees in psychology, history, political science, and biology to help students learn. I teach reading, ESL, history, and science classes.
