Participating in the Glitter Girls course will strengthen students' reading comprehension, empathy, letter recognition, letter sounds, turn-taking, number recognition, counting, one-to-one correspondence, colors, critical thinking, fine-motor, gross-motor, and social skills. Students will also learn to appreciate individuals for exactly who they are.

I am an award-winning, certified classroom teacher with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. I have nine years of in-person teaching experience and one year of online teaching experience. I have one year of experience working as a behavioral analysis direct therapist of children. 

I am a mother of five, including a three year old daughter who is the ultimate glitter-loving girl, and four boys whose interests all vary greatly. My children are always craving more friends, stories, songs, knowledge, and opportunities to share, so I know how beneficial the experience of this group is for each and every learner. I had the experience of being an only child growing up, and I definitely would have loved a course like this!
