Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Intermediate Level
The week of June 19th, we will discuss the topic of 'Friendship'. There are a total of 25 questions and Teacher Jane will call upon each student to read the question out loud and give their answer/thoughts/ideas. Each student will have the opportunity to read a question of their choice out of the 25 questions. The same process: each student will have their chance to read and to answer. This class is an excellent opportunity for the learners to have a chance to speak English with the other learns and with Teacher Jane. The expectation will be upheld that every one respects everyone and what is being said/shared. Come to class and enjoy great conversation!

The week of June 26th, we will discuss the topic of 'Happiness'. There are 25 questions in this topic as well. Teacher Jane will conduct the class the same way as the first class. Some of the interesting questions that a learner can look forward to would be: 'Describe one of the happiest times of your life.' , 'Why do you think people get happier as they get older?' These are just a couple examples of the kinds of questions. there are a variety and promote great conversation.

The week of July 3rd, we will discuss the topic of 'Success'. This class will be conducted the same as the first two classes. Teacher Jane will encourage the same respect for everyone. One example of a question in the series of 25 questions is: 'How much does luck play a part in success?' These questions are thought provoking and provide a great atmosphere of conversation.

The week of July 10th and the last is a topic of 'Travel'. Once again, Teacher Jane will conduct this class the same as the other 3 and one example of a question in the list of 25 is: 'What is your favorite thing about traveling?' All learners will have a chance to share and to speak.

Regarding learners who are 'introvert' or 'extrovert', in this class, all are welcomed. Teacher Jane can't wait to meet you!
