In this one-time class, young learners will have fun seeing all the patterns that emerge when they paint with bubbles.
Class experience
Does your young learner like to blow bubbles in their drinks with straws? Well, this is the one class where they get to make some fun art by blowing bubbles into their cup or bowl! Your learners will mix tempera paint and a bubble mixture to make a soapy paint mixture. They will then take a straw and gently blow into it in the soapy paint to make bubbles. The students will then see what happens when they place a piece of paper on top of the bubbles and what colors are made when the bubbles...
1 file available upon enrollmentSupplies that will be needed: -heavy printer paper, cardstock -dish soap -tempera paint or food coloring -cupcake/muffin pan -straws (at least 3) -smock, to keep clothes clean -water -paper towels
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
