Description
Class Experience
-Students will be able to describe various features of Mount Vernon. -Students will analyze and discuss images and artefacts on the estate.
I have a BA in Political Science, a MA in secondary teaching certification in all social subjects 5-12 and a post-Masters degree in educational technology to enhance learning. I've taught social subjects for 10+ years and have visited this location with students during an educational field trip. I've also attended several workshops and professional development opportunities focused on incorporating America's past in current discussions about today's landmarks, historic buildings and monuments. I've also visited this location and attended a specialized tour of it with students.
