Beginner Level
In "Explora tu Hogar: Vocabulario de la Casa en Español," students will learn Spanish vocabulary related to different parts of the house and common household items. The class will cover topics such as rooms, furniture, and everyday objects found at home. Each session is structured with a calendar activity to practice dates and small conversations, followed by the main topic, a writing activity, and an interactive exercise like drawing or labeling. My teaching style is designed to ensure that every student can learn at their own pace. I emphasize repetition, allowing learners to reinforce their understanding and retention of new vocabulary and concepts. To make lessons engaging and clear, I create a variety of resources, including images, videos, and graphics, that help explain the material visually. Additionally, I develop my own custom materials tailored to the needs and interests of my students. A key component of my approach is teaching the sounds of the Spanish alphabet, which helps students improve their pronunciation and makes learning the language easier. I believe that a strong foundation in phonetics is crucial for language acquisition. Occasionally, I assign homework to reinforce what we've learned in class and provide additional practice. Overall, my goal is to create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel confident and excited about learning Spanish.Learners will interact through lectures, games, slides, video clips, and discussions, making the learning process dynamic and enjoyable. Learners will get to interact with me all the time! I create discussions and constantly ask questions about what we are learning, as well as topics related to their free time, to build a strong connection with each student. I always prepare slides where they will practice vocabulary and engage in reading comprehension stories at the end of each module. This interactive approach ensures that students are not only learning but also actively participating and enjoying the process.
