ESL Conversation Practice Small Group

In this ongoing conversation class, students will practice conversations with other ESL students. Each week, we will have a theme. We will share and engage in conversations. Each student will get a chance to share and respond. 

The class will be structured as follows (Times are approximate): 
Introductions: (5 minutes) Each student will introduce themselves by saying their name and age. We will also do a getting to know you question. 
Practice Game: (5 minutes) Students will practice reading and speaking in English before we start conversations. 
Introduction to Topic: (3 minutes) I will introduce the topic and share some vocabulary words and sentence frames related to the topic. 
Free Talk: (10 minutes)With teacher guidance, students will talk amongst themselves about the topic. This will help the student learn to interact and have conversations in English. 
Goodbyes: (2 Minutes) Students will receive positive feedback (via chat) and say goodbye.
