English 1:1 Homework Drop-In

This drop-in is for students needing immediate help and feedback on an English assignment/homework. The Zoom will be available for 2 hours and the student can join for quick help. If I am already assisting another student, I will get to the waiting lobby as quickly as possibly. This service will only be available for certain times during the week after school hours. My teaching style is student driven meaning I allow the students the space to articulate their needs for their assignment and what exactly their struggle area is. We will work together collaboratively to find the best strategy to assist their needs. Once we have worked on finding a useful strategy, we will then complete some of the assignment together until they are comfortable completing it on their own. My target audience will be students in K-5 since this is where my expertise lies.
