Create a shared list of classroom rules. Learn about Dungeons & Dragons and how to play a tabletop role-playing game. Discover the various races and classes found in Dungeons & Dragons. Use this knowledge to create a unique Level 1 character. Improve skills in communication and cooperation.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
During class will use the websites D&D Beyond (https://www.dndbeyond.com/) and Owlbear Rodeo (https://www.owlbear.rodeo/). I will use the Dungeons & Dragons (5th Ed.) sourcebooks for reference regarding the rules and gameplay. Primarily content found in the Player's Handbook. As well references from Dungeon Master's Guide, Monster Manual, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.
