I will teach young artists how to identify shapes and lines in Super Mario Bros characters, and create a drawing by following along, as I guide the process step-by-step. Students can use a black marker, or they can choose to use a pencil to start with. After drawing the figure, we will color them in, and students can use any coloring utensil they prefer! Crayons, colored pencils, markers, paint, pastels, the sky is the limit! While this is an art-based course, we want to also feel like a community, and get to know others who share a love for Super Mario Bros. See below which characters will be covered each time we meet for this 5-day camp: 1. Blooper 2. Cheep Cheep 3. Spiny 4. Lakitu 5. Piranha Plant Love this class? I am most passionate about teaching art and learning in unique ways. My approach to teaching infuses encouragement and optimism while having fun and connecting with a new generation over shared interests. Every child is special and celebrated for being who they are! No matter the class, I believe in positively approaching learning and finding joy in it.
• Outside of Outschool, I founded a nonprofit youth performing arts academy in 2015.
