Students will learn about Op Art history. Students will use line to draw a worm tunnel illusion. Students will learn about color theory in order to make informed color choices in their worm tunnel illusions. Students will learn how to use shading techniques to make their worm tunnel illusions more effective.
I have 22 years of experience teaching art to students at the middle school and elementary levels, including but not limited to, art history, drawing, painting, printmaking, mural-making, and ceramics.

Basic drawing supplies: pencil, paper, coloring supplies of the the students' choice. Coloring pencils may be the better choice for this lesson since we will be introducing shading into the illusion.
