Our introduction to Dungeons & Dragons course will cover such academic subjects as understanding mythology from the view point of those living through it, how history can effect the present, how geographical locations can effect the evolution of cultures, ecology, ethics, creative storytelling and much more. Students will learn the basics of Dungeons & Dragons. Through the lens of play, we will explore topics like cooperation, social justice, friendship, geography, history and critical thinking.
Players will need the following: -A pencil and some paper (for notes that you might want to make) -A set of gaming dice that include the following (or a digital dice roller) D4: Four-sided dice. D6: Six sided dice. D8: Eight sided dice. D10: 10 sided dice. D00: 10 percentile dice. D12: 12 sided dice. D20: 20 sided dice.
