Happy Outschooling!!
Hello!
I’m Teacher Aneesa, and I am thrilled to be part of the Outschool community, where I can share my passion for learning. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Early Childhood Education from Walden University and an ESL certification (TESOL). As a licensed teacher with 12+ years of experience, I still feel the same excitement and love for teaching as I did when I first began. My experience spans Pre-K (with 80-85% ESL students in every class), kindergarten, and 1st grade, and I’ve also gained valuable insights as my own children continue through their academic journey. I truly believe that children are a precious gift, and I’m passionate about guiding them to become their best selves. Providing a solid educational foundation is key to their growth and success.
One of my greatest passions is helping students become confident readers, so I offer classes that focus on literacy, including letter recognition, phonics, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. I also have a love for math and science, and you can expect to find elements of these subjects sprinkled throughout my lessons. I’ve always had a love for math, so I enjoy helping students master number sense, addition, multiplication, and more. A strong grasp of math fundamentals is essential for long-term success, especially when it comes to test-taking.
I believe it’s crucial for students to develop a love for learning early on, which is why I use an interactive, hands-on teaching approach that’s fun and engaging. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than seeing students enjoy the learning process.
On a personal note, I’m a family-oriented person and I love to sing! I’m married with three athletic daughters who keep me on my toes with their busy schedules. Our life is full of fun chaos, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. If you hear me singing in class, feel free to join in—let’s sing and learn together!
I can’t wait to meet you!
Best regards,
Teacher Aneesa
