In this one time class I will read the book and discuss characters, setting and other story details. The students will then work on retelling the book using a story map. The students will use crayons, markers and pencils.

Hi, I will be reading The Very Grouchy Ladybug by Eric Carle to the group and then be working on retelling the story and working on simple comprehension skills. The page we will be completing can be mostly words, mostly drawings or a combination depending on your child’s level. I will allow for independent work, questions and feedback. The students will then be able to share their work with the class if they choose.
