Your students will enjoy an animal themed story and then virtually meet the superstar animal of the book. Read along, make animal observations, and investigate otter behavior! Get an up-close look at our resident river otters though real time cameras, and learn how you can help aquatic animals in the wild. Ask our otter expert instructors all of your questions, while watching our resident otters swim and play in their habitats at the Texas State Aquarium. No previous knowledge is needed; just come prepared to learn and have fun! Please Note: In the nature of live cameras, sometimes the animals will not be in view. We will supplement with recorded footage of said animals whenever possible.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to name 3 different parts of an otter's body.
Students can name one way they can help otters in the wild.
