The class will start with a presentation about Diego Rivera. We will then create our version of this piece using an initial step by step drawing followed by painting. I'll sprinkle in Spanish vocabulary as it relates to our work, such as the words for flowers, colors, and numbers. At the end of the session we will display our work to each other and I'll provide feedback to each child as well as answer their questions.

Supplies Needed: white paper, pencil, eraser, markers (or colored pencils or crayons), acrylic paint (white, light blue for sky, green, yellow), paintbrush (small to medium sized, I use a No. 8), cup of water
