Layers are one of the most powerful tools in your Adobe Photoshop toolbox, so having a good understanding of how to work with layers is very important in becoming a Photoshop guru. I have been teaching classes on graphic design, image editing and web design/development since 2006, and I enjoy helping people learn by doing fun and interesting projects. What you will create in this class will be something you can actually print out and use, if you like.
You should not need to be concerned about homework, but you may want to watch the video of the class and go through all the steps again on your own.
You will need to have access to Adobe Photoshop CS6 or newer. I will be using the latest version of Adobe Photoshop on a computer running Windows 10, but you should not have too much trouble following along if you are using a Mac.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
