Class experience
Students need at least about 2-6 months of prior Spanish exposure in order to feel comfortable in this class. It is highly recommended to come in with a foundation in basic topics such as colors, numbers, How are you, I am good, some prior knowledge about masculine and feminine nouns. Please message if you have any questions about that. If you would like your learner to join level 2 but are unsure if they are a good fit, I am open to meeting your learner for a one on one session to gauge...
I have three years of experience living in Guatemala and am married to a Guatemalan. I speak Spanish daily to native Spanish speakers and have formed a community where I am constantly exposed to practical, real-life Spanish. I am raising my son to be bilingual! I have four years of experience teaching foreign languages, including teaching English to students in Spanish.
Homework Offered
If you would like homework for your learner to keep them accountable please let me know. I will be happy to assign outside activities. I do not make it a required part of the course so that there is no pressure for busy families!1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

I often show short clips of songs from Youtube videos that are directly correlated to the material we learn in class. I provide each enrolled learner with access to a Google classroom which includes songs, flashcards, and other materials in order to practice and have fun outside of class.
