Class Experience
Join the Coding Club With Scratch!!! and embark on a creative journey into the world of animation! This weekly club is designed for Scratch enthusiasts who want to explore the art of animation and bring their imaginations to life through the power of Scratch programming. With just one hour a week, you'll dive into exciting animation techniques, discover storytelling through motion, and create captivating animated projects. Over the course of the summer weeks, we will explore various topics...
Explore the fundamentals of animation and its role in storytelling. Learn how to create walking, jumping, and other character movements. Learn techniques for creating particle effects, explosions, and other special effects. Bring characters to life by matching their actions with their spoken words.
I have taught technology education including computer science for 8 years, 3 years at middle schools, and 5 years at the high school level.
No homework assigned.

The classes will have an informal formative assessment at the end, to see if the students was able to follow along through the whole class.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There are no safety concerns. We will be using an approved third-party tool known as Scratch. It is a safe and reliable educational resource.
