In this 40 minute holiday art class, young artists will draw and paint a beautiful candy cane cupcake. This is a small group class of 6 or less. Beginners welcome!
Class experience
In this one-time 40 minute class, young artists will use a combination of art mediums to create a beautiful cupcake for the Holidays. Students are first led through an easy to follow, step-by-step drawing of a cupcake with icing. Students can add candy canes on the cupcake and in the foreground. After the drawing is complete, we will outline our drawing with water-based markers. We also will be using crayons for the cake, icing, sprinkles, and the cupcake wrapper. Next, we have fun using...
I have been an art educator for over 25 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Art Education (K-12) from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have taught in public schools, private schools, as well as homeschool co-op groups and private lessons.
