Chess Club for Intermediate and Advanced Players

Chess is 90% Tactics!  We have fun and creative ways to train for the tricks that win games.  Our group puzzle races are very popular. Also we do individual puzzle training for increase ratings and all group members receive premium memberships with unlimited tactics, lessons and workout, included with our class membership

We also match up and pair off with each other in our online clubs for friendly games at Chesskid, Chess.com and Lichess.   Our training also includes Opening Training at Chesstempo, which we then use to practice our new openings with each other.

After about one hour of puzzles and games, we have fun with 4-Player chess and other variants online including Bughouse and Atomic chess or other varieties!

From week to week chess club focuses on familiar activities we can do to train and have fun! 

1) Winning chess tactics with pins, forks, skewers and much more! We also use great group and individual training like Puzzle Rush at Chess.com and Puzzle Racer at Lichess together.

2) Opening training: Free optional account at Chesstempo to set your player's opening Repertoires for White and Black openings. Also we have thematic mating practice we can use at that free website.

3) Friendly Competition and Opening practice where we play each other in the club and get a chance to try out or ideas on each other.

4) Variations on a theme:  After hard work on tactics and 1/1 battles we like to experiment with 4-player chess and other variants of Chess that have similar tactical ideas but with a twist like Atomic or Spell Chess!
