Class experience
1st Class: After introductions, we will read the book Grace for President by Kelly DiPucchio. Then we will discuss key elements in the book. Voting age, can a President be a female?, campaign promises, working hard and other topics the students find of interest. The students will have homework: each will design their own campaign poster, campaign slogan and 3 promises of things they plan to do as president. 2nd Class: Learners will take turns presenting their campaign to the class. ...

Please try to steer your children away from any super-controversial topics as they develop their campaign. I am all for free discussion, but these are children and different families have different viewpoints.
