British History taught in a captivating way by a British person. We will go over WW1 and WW2 including the following topics-- Fields of Flanders, Evacuees, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, Dunkirk, V-E Day, and the effects of the wars.

Students will learn that the past can be fun to learn and that history is still around us today. We will be studying how WWI and WWII affected Britain and other countries. My British History class will allow students to learn fun facts about Britain that changed the world. I am originally from Britain, and as a child, I went around many stately homes. My parents were both born in the 1930s, and my mum's stories of WWII allowed me to see history in such a different way. I have taken many classes in history and my love for history has grown over the years, that I would love to share this love to allow students to see that history can be fun to learn.
Parents will simply need a computer, a notebook, pen, and a student who wants to learn how history in Britain really did effect the world and how one nation, though small, made a huge impact.
The biggest guidance I would suggest is when something needs to be looked up on the internet that the parents are aware of what websites their children are going too. Also, there will be talks about wars that Britain was involved with.
- BBC -YouTube videos we'll look at in class such as Imperial War Museum - History Channel, Primary school, and British resources
